Shipping, Returns & Cancellations

Shipping Policy

Welcome to Finecost Foods' shipping policy. Here, we aim to provide transparent information about our shipping methods, packaging, and costs. Our commitment is to ensure that your orders are delivered efficiently and with care.
 
We offer overnight shipping i.e. orders are couriered a day after placing your order. Take note that all orders placed after lunch, on Saturdays or public holidays will be processed on the following business day. The shipping of products available on our website www.finecostfoods.com is currently restricted to orders within Namibia. 

 

The rate charged for shipping local orders i.e. anywhere in Namibia, ranges from N$100 to N$120 depending on the weight of the order. All orders will be couriered using NamPost or alternative couriers that will be communicated. Customers will be notified by the respective courier once their order has arrived and ready for collection.

Returns & Refund Policy

Our returns and refund policy at Finecost Foods is designed to provide you with peace of mind. If you're dissatisfied with your order, the following refund terms apply:

 

  • The product(s) were returned within 3 hours of the purchase.​

  • The product(s) were returned with no alterations to original packaging i.e. not opened/ consumed.

 

The following are non-refundable:

  • Delivery/courier fees once the order has been dispatched. 

  • Incorrect orders placed by the customer.

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, power outages, couriers) are non-refundable.

​Cancellation Policy

At Finecost Foods we strive to prepare and deliver all orders in a timely manner. Because food products are perishable, the following cancellation terms apply:​

  • Customers may cancel an order free of charge, if the cancellation request is made before the order is prepared, packed or dispatched. 

  • Once food preparation, slicing, packaging, or dispatch has begun, orders cannot be cancelled and refunds may not be issued, except in cases where: The order could not be fulfilled by us or the wrong items were delivered. 

  • For orders paid using debit or credit cards, approved refunds will be processed back to the original card/payment method used during checkout. Cash refunds will not be issued for card transactions. 

  • Once approved refunds are usually processed by us within 2 business days. Customers will receive email confirmation once the refund has been submitted for processing.
